Beatles Musical “Backbeat” Opening In L.A. Before Broadway Run

“Backbeat,” the 1994 film that chronicles the Beatles’ early days, has already seen its theater adaptation come to life in Glasgow, London (in the West End, no less), and soon, Toronto. It seems, however, that “Backbeat’s” anticipated Broadway run will follow a brief run in Los Angeles, as reported today by Billboard.
