It wouldn’t have been a concert for Boston without the city’s own homegrown rock & roll legends, Aerosmith and the J. Geils Band. Not only did both bands show up in full, they blew the roof off the TD Garden with a seemingly endless string of classic hits.

WZLX Ticket Stash: Boston Plays for 9 Nights Straight in Worcester

Amid major lawsuits and on the heels of the release of their album Third Stage, Boston performed in 1987 at the Worcester Centrum (now known as the DCU Center) for a massive 9-night marathon of shows with Brad Delp & Co., perhaps the high point of the band’s success in New England.
