Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Queen‘s virtual reality experiment, The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience, will have you questioning if you’ve escaped from reality.
The band has joined forces with Google Play and Enosis VR in order to bring their world to life for iOS and Android users alike. As long as you have a virtual reality headset, you can start experiencing “Bohemian Rhapsody” on your mobile device now!
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to hop into Wayne and Garth’s car for a headbanging sesh to the song.
You will, however, get to do something much cooler — “step inside the music.”
“It’s fully interactive, where most of the things are triggered by your gaze,” Enosis founder Vangelis Lympouridis said about the experience. “As you view it, a lot of things pop up in front of your eyes. You don’t necessarily feel that you trigger them, but you do. Where your attention goes, that’s where action unfolds.”
For a behind-the-scenes look at the experiment, which includes an interview with Queen’s lead guitarist Brian May, watch below.
