Ted Nugent Appears in Extended Donald Trump Campaign Ad

Ted Nugent appears in an extended ad for Donald Trump. As part of the #Heartland4Trump campaign, Nugent and others discuss how, depending on who voters choose, the upcoming presidential election threatens to undermine hunting, fishing and other outdoor pastimes.

In the ad, Nugent describes all the documents that give people the right over their resources. “We the people choosing our own pursuit of happiness, it doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world,” he says. “Hunting, fishing trapping. We the people own these precious renewable resources.” He adds that Hillary Clinton “will destroy” those freedoms, whereas “Donald Trump will safeguard the things that make America the greatest place in the world.”

On Facebook, Nugent posted an extended commentary about voting for Trump along with a link to the ad. “My logic, truth & commonsense buddy Albert Einstein once said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results,” he wrote. “Isn’t it time we quit doing the same thing by electing professional politicians to represent us and then hoping they do something different instead of punking us?”

Of course, in August, Nugent said that if the American populace didn’t get this election right then he’d be sure to run in 2020.
