Sunday Morning Blues: September 18th, 2016

BB King’s birthday has come around again, so we had to start with a couple songs featuring the man! First, it was “Keep a Dollar in Your Pocket” from Elvin Bishop’s excellent album from 2008 called “The Blues Rolls On,” featuring guest stars on every track including Derrek Trucks, Warren Haynes, James Cotton, Tommy Castro, George Thorogood, Angela Strehli and, of course, BB! Birthday salutes also went out to folk and blues legend David Bromberg as well as drummer Kenny Jones of the Small Faces, Faces and the Who!

Thanks to George M. from Concord, NH for the CHOOSE YOUR BLUES list! You get yourself a Sunday morning blues shirt! Anybody else? If you have your suggested list of tunes played on Sunday Morning blues, we’ll send you the highly-prized Sunday Morning Blues t-shirt! Get those lists to
