Motley Crüe Are Reportedly Being Sued Over Their Tour Merch

by Alisha Jackson

Apparently not everyone loves a throwback.

According to TMZ, Motley Crüe used photos that were taken of the band back in the 1980’s on their farewell tour merch, and none of them were approved for use by the photographers themselves. Barry Levine and Neil Zlozower say that they took the photos that were featured on the tour’s t-shirts, crop tops, stickers, vests, flags, patches, and onesies, and that the band never got permission to use them.

A vintage photo of the band taken by Zlozower at his Hollywood studio can be seen on his Instagram account below.

The photographers are reportedly suing the band for using their images without permission.
