MBTA Offering Special Train Service To Bruce Springsteen At Gillette Stadium

The MBTA wants you to take the train to see The Boss in September.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the MBTA have announced a special train service from Boston down to Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, September 14th for Bruce Springsteen’s final stop on this leg of The River tour.

For only 20 bucks, fans can jump on this special commuter rail train that leaves South Station at 5:35pm the night of the show and makes stops in Back Bay (5:40pm), and Dedham (5:55pm) before arriving at Gillette Stadium around 6:40pm.

The show doesn’t start until 7:30, so there’s still plenty of time to get a beer and get to your seats.

The return trip doesn’t have a set time – just that trains will depart 30 minutes after the concert ends, probably a good thing since Bruce is playing four hour sets these days.
