Sunday Morning Blues: August 28th, 2016

After being recharged last week on the Sunday morning Blues 17th Anniversary show at the Blues n’ Brews Festival, we’re ready to rock! 2 days of fantastic performances and microbrews plus that stellar weather (except for the 1 hour cloudburst on Saturday) was a fantastic way to send the show into another year on WZLX.

We began this show (#885) with birthday tributes to the late blues legend Koko Taylor, Chick Willis, Van Morrison, Willie Deville and Gary Hoey (who rocked Blues n Brews on Sunday!). Thanks to Rich in Newburyport for the CHOOSE YOUR BLUES list of ‘Travelin’ Blues’ songs. You’ve earned a Sunday Morning blues T-shirt!
