It’s Not Necessarily “The End” for Ozzy Osbourne Says Black Sabbath Keyboardist

It might be The End for Black Sabbath, but it sounds like Ozzy Osbourne is already making plans after his band’s final tour is done.

Adam Wakeman, keyboardist and a touring member of Sabbath tells EONmusic that Ozzy won’t rest for long.

“[Black Sabbath is] finishing on February 4th, and then we’ll see what happens with Ozzy after that,” says Wakeman in an interview. “I mean, he wants to do another tour, he wants to do another album, but there’s going to be a period of time when he needs a rest, so yeah, hopefully we’ll be back out.”

Wakeman doesn’t let on what that new album would sound like, but alludes that it may sound different.

“One of the great things about Ozzy, is he reinvents himself, and he works with different producers and musicians,” Wakeman says. “I mean, he’s very happy with his band, so hopefully that will continue. I’m there whenever he needs me.”

Black Sabbath’s final tour continues through North and South America through December, before finishing up in the UK early next year.
