Apparently being a rockstar doesn’t cover the bills of living like one for Frances Bean Cobain‘s ex, Isaiah Silva. The Eeries frontman says that he needs Cobain’s daddy’s money to maintain his privileged lifestyle.
According to court documents via E!, Silva is requesting $25,000 per month from Cobain in spousal support. That’s $300,000 a year!
Included in the $25,000 monthly spending is Silva’s rent ($4,500), clothing ($200), and private schooling for his child from a previous relationship ($3,333). In the documents, he also states that his income from The Eeries has “changed significantly” as a result of the divorce.
“Due to break up of marriage and incidents of violence and harassment against me I have been unable to tour and record music,” the documents state.

Unfortunately for Frances, who at an estimated worth of $100 million was clearly the breadwinner of the relationship, a prenuptial agreement wasn’t made before the couple got hitched. While she is open to paying spousal support, Frances is determined to leave her father out of the picture. She’s requesting that monetary gains from Kurt Cobain‘s estate be excluded.
“Petitioner requests that all gifts, inheritance, bequests and all other pre-marital assets, and all of her post-separation earnings, and acquisitions, as well as her clothing, jewelry and personal effects, be confirmed and/or awarded to her as her separate property plus all credits, offsets and reimbursements to which she is entitled,” the documents state.
