With the way the Guns N’ Roses reunion tour is going, it doesn’t look like Slash is going to be re-joining Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators anytime soon. And surprisingly, the front man doesn’t seem to mind. In fact, he encourages the reunion of Slash and his bandmates Axl Rose and Duff McKagan.
“There was always a feeling inside that it was eventually gonna happen,” Myles tells Team Rock about the Guns N’ Roses reunion. Adding, “It’s such an incredible band and it was inevitable. When he [Slash] told me, the first thing I said was, ‘You guys are gonna make a lot of people extremely happy, myself included.'”
“I had the opportunity to see the first night they did in Las Vegas. It was just so great to see those guys together on stage again. As a rock fan, it’s good for rock. It’s a well-needed shot in the arm for rock’n’roll.”
As for his reunion with Slash, Myles doesn’t see it happening anytime soon. “It’s going so well,” he said of the Not In This Lifetime tour, “so I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon.”
