Watch The Rolling Stones Snap, Crackle, Rock This Vintage 1960’s Rice Krispies Jingle

by Alisha Jackson

Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, a commercial from the early 1960’s has resurfaced featuring a jingle by the original bad boys of rock, and they’re sounding way nicer than expected.

While it’s nearly impossible to track down the year this vintage 1960’s Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal commercial originally aired, the general consensus says it happened in 1963, which makes a little more sense. Back then, the Rolling Stones had formed, but they hadn’t yet released their debut eponymous album. Frankly, Mick and the boys probably could have used the money at the time, which is most likely why they took the gig.

Whatever the reason for it happening, we’re glad this recording from the Rolling Stones’ humble beginnings has resurfaced. Check out their commercial at the beginning of the article!
