We already knew that Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band were making their annual stop in New England next month.
What we’re learning now is Jimmy and crew have planned two shows in Massachusetts for their 2016 I Don’t Know tour.
Live Nation has confirmed to WZLX that Jimmy Buffett will play a show at the House of Blues in Boston on Thursday, August 11th, in addition to his sold out show at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Saturday, August 20th.
“Jimmy Buffett’s deep ties to Boston are unmistakable: from countless sold out concerts to helping make Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration an extraordinary success,” said Live Nation’s John Innamorato. “We are humbled, honored and above all excited to welcome Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band back to Lansdowne Street!”
With the capacity of the House of Blues hovering around 2,200, this tour stop will be among the most intimate on Buffett’s tour, compared to the nearly 20,000 seat capacity of the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.
Tickets for the House of Blues Show go on-sale Thursday, July 28th at 10am through Ticketmaster and are limited to four tickets per customer. Ticket purchasers will be required to present ID and the credit card used for purchase to gain entry. Tickets are non-transferable.
