82-Year-Old Rob Zombie Fan Stuns ‘America’s Got Talent’ Audience… Again

"Metal Grandpa" is back with a new cover.

John Hetlinger captured the country’s fascination when he performed “Bodies” by metal band Drowning Pool on America’s Got Talent. The performance went viral on social media and Hetlinger performed the song onstage with Drowning Pool last Friday at the Chicago Open Air Fest.

Last night (July 20), he returned to the AGT stage to perform a rendition of Rob Zombie’s “Dragula.” In the introductory banter, the 82-year-old Hetlinger bragged about his 63-year-old wife, proving that it’s never too late to rob the cradle.

Though the panel of judges ultimately booted him from the competition, it’s was a joy to watch One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson try to make sense of what he was witnessing.
