Sunday Morning Blues: July 17th, 2016

English rock lore states that Cream formed on this date in 1966. It’s hard to pin down an exact day – was it when they first rehearsed? When they signed a contract? Whatever it was that marked this as the day, let’s celebrate the uniting of Eric Clapton from John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, and Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker from the Graham Bond Organization!

They’d only do four studio albums together, but we’re still feeling the effects all these years later!
Oh yeah – we also got to check out the brand new Eric Clapton song too!
