On June 17th of 1963, Peter Green replaced Eric Clapton in John Mayall‘s Bluesbreakers.

Back then, Green was an unknown guitarist, and Clapton was a god. But it didn’t take long for people to start calling Peter the “Green God.” To learn more about the godfather of the British blues scene, watch our Rock Talk with Carter video above!
