The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton Hit the Studio Together

by Alisha Jackson

Two exciting things are happening in the world of the Rolling Stones, according to The Sun. Not only is the band reportedly back in the studio working a new album, but they called on their old friend Eric Clapton to play on two of the tracks.

A source close to the band revealed, “Eric was in the next studio along so he came in to say hello,” and “they ended up jamming and recorded two songs.” The source added that producer Don Was “reckons it’s the best thing he has ever done with the Stones.”

The band is also said to be going back to the studio later this month “because they are enjoying it so much.” Neither camp has yet to comment, but we could certainly see it happening after the Stones unearthed their alternate “Brown Sugar” recording with Eric Clapton last year.
