Foxboro To Hold Guns N’ Roses To Curfew At Gillette Stadium Shows

It seems like it’s going to be an early night for Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses when they swing through Gillette Stadium in July.

Venue officials had asked for a curfew extension from the town of Foxboro, but were denied at a meeting this week.

Foxboro has a strict town wide 11:15pm curfew, and concert planners had requested an additional 25 minutes on both July 19th and 20th, allowing them to play until 11:40pm both nights. However, the Board of Selectmen felt otherwise.

“This is on a Tuesday and a Wednesday,” Foxboro Town Selectwoman Ginny Coppola told The Sun Chronicle.

“If this was a weekend, I wouldn’t have a problem with it,” Coppola continued. “But it’s a work night, and this isn’t going to be an acoustic evening. It’s going to be loud.”

Other acts, such as Taylor Swift, have been allowed to perform until 11:40pm, but those shows have taken place on weekends.

Best get down to Foxboro early this summer.
