Ruby Rose Fox
Ruby Rose Fox is a songwriter and vocal powerhouse, whose genre bending lounge-pop style blends the best of today’s female vocalist with a nostalgic quality that transcends today’s musical landscape. Ruby has been described as one part Leonard Cohen, one part Patti Smith, one part Roy Orbison, and all Ruby Rose Fox.
Having spent several years fronting the Ska band Mass Hysteria, Ruby Rose Fox embarked on her solo career in late 2011, recording the pop-noir song “The Dread.” Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Ruby released her self-titled debut, Ruby Rose Fox, in 2012. The five-song EP was produced by Emeen Zarookian of the Boston-based band Spirit Kid and mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer Paul Q. Kolderie (Radiohead, The Pixies).
