Lynyrd Skynyrd had to cancel two shows over the weekend at the Hard Rock Cafe in Biloxi, Mississippi, after founding member/guitarist Gary Rossington was hospitalized with an abdominal infection. The band informed fans of the cancellation via their official Facebook page, saying, “We are awaiting further tests and treatment; once we receive more information on Gary’s status additional information will be released. Thank you for your support & understanding.” 

Skynyrd is currently on tour, their next scheduled date is February 23 in Kinder, Louisiana. No announcements have been made about that show as of yet.
