In October of 2012, one of the best lineups of rock, country and soul acts came together to pay tribute to the late Band drummer/singer Levon Helm at New Jersey’s Izod Center.

The Love For Levon Concert (read our review here) featured current and former members of The Band, The Eagles, The Allman Brothers Band, Pink Floyd and My Morning Jacket, among others, and raised funds to help Helm’s estate keep ownership of his home, barn and studio, and to continue the “Midnight Ramble Sessions,” which Helm hosted and headlined in the last few years of his life.

If you missed it… well, you missed it. But now, it’s coming out on DVD, BluRay and CD so you can see and/or hear what went down.  Some of the highlights of the show – which featured songs by The Band as well as from Helm’s solo career – include:

In other Helm news, according to the Internet Movie Database, the long-taked about Levon documentary, Ain’t in It for My Health: A Film About Levon Helm, will hit theaters in May.
