#5
Super Bowl XXXV (2001)
Aerosmith, ‘N Sync, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly
This Super Bowl featured arguably one of the best defenses of all time in the Baltimore Ravens. This defense set an NFL record for fewest points allowed in a 16 game season with 165, a record held previously by the legendary 1986 Chicago Bears. The Ravens beat the Giants by the score of 34-7. And even though this one has a little too much boyband for our taste, hey, it’s Aerosmith!
#4
Super Bowl XL (2006)
The Rolling Stones
Super Bowl XL was played at Ford Field in Detroit, hometown of former Steelers RB Jerome Bettis. WR Hines Ward received the MVP as the Steelers handed the Seahawks a 21-10 defeat.
#3
Super Bowl XXXIX (2005)
Paul McCartney
Super Bowl XXXIX was special one for us in Boston, as the Patriots solidified a dynasty winning their 3rd title in 4 years over Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Pats won by the score of 24-21.
#2
Super Bowl XLIII (2009)
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
This Super Bowl victory awarded the Pittsburgh Steelers their 6th Lombardi trophy, the most of any NFL franchise surpassing the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. The Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23.
#1
Super Bowl XXXVI (2002)
Another memorable moment for Patriots fans, this was the improbable win over Kurt Warner and “The Greatest Show on Turf” in the St. Louis Rams. The Patriots were 14 point underdogs and Tom Brady won Super Bowl MVP, beating the Rams 20-17.
