March 5 will see the release of the next collection of previously unreleased Jimi Hendrix tracks, People, Hell & Angels. But you can get a preview of the album much sooner than that: seven of the songs will be featured in tonight’s episode of Hawaii Five-O.
The episode, “Olelo Ho’opa’I Make” (Hawaiian for “death sentence”), sees Chin (played by Daniel Dae Kim), kidnapped and dropped in the middle of Halawa Prison dressed as an inmate; he fights for his life to escape before other prisoners recognize him as “five-o” (a policeman).

The songs featured in the episode are ”Bleeding Heart,” “Mojo Man,” “Hey Gypsy Boy,” “Inside Out,” “Crash Landing,” “Hear My Train A Comin’” and “Somewhere.” You can hear “Somewhere” right now on CBS.com. Although some of these songs have been released in different forms, the versions on People, Hell & Angels are previously unreleased takes.
Hawaii Five-O airs tonight on CBS after the AFC Championship Game.
