The WZLX Top 1200 Countdown is underway and it is filled with rock and roll classics. Many of them are by the same legendary bands, appearing on the list dozens of times.

The band with the most appearances on the countdown is Led Zeppelin, with 44 appearances on the list. They just barely beat out The Beatles and the Rolling Stones (43 each) for the most. Next on the list is Aerosmith with 33 appearances, and The Who rounds out the top 5 most common bands with 30 appearances.
