WZLX’s own Carter Alan had another great year for artist interviews in 2012. Steven Tyler visited the ZLX studio to chat with Carter for the second year in a row, while rock legends like Joe Walsh and Leslie West also joined his show to talk rock & roll.
Steven Tyler’s visit to the studio came just before Aerosmith rocked the streets of Boston with a special pre-Election Day concert on Commonwealth Ave. He talked about the show and Aerosmith’s new album Music From Another Dimension! Also, Joe Walsh confirmed a long-standing rumor about him that sounded like a myth, and Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi-Trucks Band talked about his career and his admiration for Jimi Hendrix.
Here, we recap the very best of Carter Alan’s artist interviews from the past year.
