Lost in the excitement of Sunday night’s near-historic comeback by the New England Patriots against the San Francisco 49ers was the announcement that Bon Jovi are returning to Foxboro in July for their 2013 tour.
The Jersey rockers will kick off their 2013 Because We Can world tour at Mohegan Sun in February, blazing a trail around the globe before returning to the states Midsummer, where they’ll play Gillette Stadium on Saturday, July 20, 2013.
Tickets will go on sale early next year, so be sure to pay attention closely to that. We’ll do our best here to keep you updated. Ensuring that there is truly something for every fan, Bon Jovi is offering a wide range of ticket options for the concert, starting as low as $19.50.
The tour will debut new songs from the band’s upcoming album What About Now, to be released in the Spring, as well as the usual Bon Jovi classics.
“Rock fans in New England love Bon Jovi and especially love seeing them at Gillette Stadium, where ‘This is Our House’ is the official touchdown song,” said Dan Murphy, Gillette Stadium vice president of business development. “We’re excited to welcome them back in 2013 and see what they have planned for ‘Because We Can.’”
