With no plans to record an album anytime soon, Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton can focus his attention on publishing his memoirs.

“I always thought, ‘OK, if you have two or three band members already having their book out, who wants to read another one?’”, Hamilton tells Zoiks! Online.

Drummer Joey Kramer was the first member of the band to write an autobiography, releasing Hit Hard: A Story of Hitting Rock Bottom at the Top in 2009. Steven Tyler’s Does The Noise In My Head Bother You? hit shelves in 2011, and earlier this year Joe Perry announced plans to write his life story.

Now cancer free, Hamilton’s book will certainly offer a unique viewpoint different than his bandmates’. Read the full interview with Zoiks! Online here.
