Since today (November 27) would have been Jimi Hendrix’s 70th birthday, the rock & roll community took to Twitter to send their messages of tribute.
Hendrix is unquestionably one of the greatest guitar players to ever play the instrument (if not the best), and certainly one of the most influential, which makes his 70th birthday a major milestone even though he passed away in 1970 at age 27.
Greater Boston clearly has plenty of Hendrix fans, as evidenced by the many Twitter tributes from fans in the area. Here are some choice tweets wishing a happy birthday to the legendary guitarist.
Happy Birthday Jimi Hendrix.... You changed the world, you are an inspiration to many.... You are A W E S O M E !!
