Anyone can write a concert review, but it’s quite different when multiple concertgoers are the ones doing the reviewing. If you weren’t able to make it out to the show, or just wanna relive the evening one final time, here’s our very own concert review made exclusively by the fans in attendance!
Neil Young & Crazy Horse have been tearing it up as of late, and that was made evident at Monday night’s packed show at the TD Garden.
With no signs of slowing down this decade, 2012 has been one of their busiest years on record, releasing two collaborations in under 5 months spanning from June to November. A live album may also be in the works. Meanwhile, the documentary of Young’s last tour, Journeys, is out now, as is his memoirs, Waging Heavy Peace.
With all that’s going on surrounding Neil Young & Crazy Horse, you’d think that given their age and rigorous touring schedule (Monday was their 5th show in 8 days), that their live shows would somehow suffer as a consequence. But that just wasn’t the case. Neil Young is still Neil Young!
The rumor that Neil Young has slowed down? Not hardly. Powerful (loud) opening! @ TD Garden instagr.am/p/ShBUWux5ID/

Anti-Gravity Bunny (@justinsnow) November 27, 20122007 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Patti Smith served as the opening act for Monday night’s show. The singer-songwriter was more than impressive, judging by the feedback we’ve noticed on Twitter so far. So good in fact, that Herald writer Jed Gottlieb nominates Smith for Neil Young’s all time opener.
Patti Smith was amazing. Next on stage: Neil Young & Crazy Horse!

Haven't heard from my parents since Neil Young. Think they're still coming down?
