  • 1965: Bob Dylan marries Sara Lowndes in a secret wedding.
  • 1969: Led Zeppelin releases the single “Whole Lotta Love.”
  • 1981: The Rolling Stones jam with mentor Muddy Waters at a Chicago nightclub.
  • 1982: Then-Mayor Sara Robertson in Worcester declares “Van Halen Day” in the city after local fans collect 25,000 signatures for a petition requesting the band to add a second Worcester show to their tour at the time.
