Popular Bruins winger Milan Lucic has been keeping himself busy during the NHL lockout – not by playing overseas, but mostly by meeting fans and helping charities around Boston.
He appeared Friday night at the UMass Lowell hockey game to drop the ceremonial first puck, and also took time to meet some lucky fans who were glad to see him, but likely sad about the lockout.

john collins (@johncolowellsun) November 19, 2012We obviously wish he was suiting up for the Bruins and taking the ice, but with no end to the lockout in sight this is the most we can expect to get from Lucic (or just about any NHL player) around here.
