You Review It: The Who at the TD Garden

The TD Garden played host to rock and roll legends over the weekend, as Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend brought the latest incarnation of The Who to Boston for their Quadrophenia tour. The band played their famous rock opera from beginning to end, before finishing off their set with a run of Who classics.

According to a review of the show in the Boston Globe, Daltrey impressed with his vocals but Townshend stole the show with his on-point guitar work and surprisingly active stage moves.

Photos tweeted by fans at the concert show the band performing in front of a set of giant video screens, and in some cases pyrotechnics going off. It shows the type of spectacle that should be expected any time the original members of The Who come together for a live performance.





One under-appreciated aspect of The Who is the fact that many people may have them on their list of bands to see during their lifetime – if you do not, you should. These fans did:


The overall reaction on Twitter to the concert appeared positive, as fans got swept away by the tremendous live energy that comes with Who songs. Is it any surprise they’re still a must-see act?
