After anticipating it all year, The Rolling Stones are finally ready to celebrate their 50th anniversary in concert form, and they might be launching their tour dates just in time for the end of 2012.
An exclusive report from Showbiz 411 says the band are ready to put tickets on sale, maybe as soon as Friday.
The report says tour dates at the O2 Arena in London are confirmed for November 26 and 27, as well as undisclosed tour dates at Barclay’s in Brooklyn. Already confirmed is a two-night stay at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on December 15-16.
According to the report, money was (of course) the deciding factor in getting the deal done for the band.
If the tour is indeed happening, we should expect one or two nights at the TD Garden in Boston, maybe the Comcast Center in Mansfield, in November or December.
