It was a busy weekend for classic rock concerts in New England, where fans took to Twitter to post photos of their experiences. Our hometown heroes in the J. Geils Band continued their current tour (minus J. Geils himself) after playing the House of Blues for two nights with a show at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom.
Not sure what’s exactly going on in this picture, but it sure looks like loads of fun!
Elsewhere in New England, Foreigner continued their current tour with a concert at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I.

…And apparently, they were great!
Have to say it again.. Foreigner killed it last night at Twin River. Best show I've seen at that half-ass casino. Haa.—

And finally, former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne brought his tour to the Orpheum Theatre in Boston to support his new collaborative album with indie musician Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent.

And according to this fan you should never be allowed to sit down at a concert, even if it’s at a seat-filled venue like the Orpheum!
David Byrne in Boston. AMAZING!! It should be illegal to have to SIT at a concert. Boston you are boring.—
