In a homecoming of sorts, Boston’s own J. Geils Band (minus J. Geils himself) played for two straight nights at the House of Blues on Lansdowne St. over the weekend. The absence of the band’s namesake – and the lawsuits that are coming along with it – didn’t stop Peter Wolf & Co. from delivering an epic set, based on fan reactions on Twitter.
The guys rocked the house with a full band, complete with horn sections and backup singers, as this Instagram shot shows:
