Director David Wilson waved his wand and conjured up some movie magic for Passion Pit‘s latest video. To make “Talk A Walk,” the band teamed up with The Creators Project, the same group responsible for the giant LED-lit inflatable balls raining down over Arcade Fire’s audience at Coachella two years ago.
With their new album Gossamer‘s July 24th release date right around the corner, Passion Pit is aiming to capture your attention. In the video for “Take A Walk,” the album’s first single, we’re led on a journey bouncing around the country, literately.
In the opening shot lead singer Michael Angelakos is found inexplicably lying on the street with racket ball nearby. After being awoken by his dog, Angelakos throws the ball into the air as if to rid himself of it permanently. What follows is a journey only a magical floating blue racket ball could achieve.
Passion Pit will soon head out on tour in support of Gossamer.
