Next month in front of the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash will be the 2,473rd recipient of a “Walk Of Fame” Star.

Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies, and the Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce released this statement:

“Slash is widely considered one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time. We are proud to place his name among the stars on our fabled Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

The event is scheduled to take place July 10th and will be emceed by Leron Gubler, President/CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, with special guest speakers Charlie Sheen and Robert Evans.

Slash and Myles Kennedy will take part in an exclusive Q&A and private performance when the ceremony concludes.
