From Sunday Morning Blues

What is happening with our year? Time is accelerating. It must be that phenomenon every summer; as soon as Memorial Day hits, the next three months just fly by! It’s already June 11th on the Blues show. Unbelievable. Paulie’s New Orleans Jazz and Blues Festival is only two weeks away in Worcester. Sunday Morning Blues will be there! Go to BAEvents.com for information. We played Tab Benoit to celebrate the 3-day fest; he’s one of the featured performers on Saturday.

We also started off with a whole heaping of Howlin’ Wolf performances and songs, since it’s the anniversary of that great blues singer’s birth. AKA: Chester Burnett, Howlin’ Wolf was born in 1910 and died in 1976. He was simply one of the best singers that ever lived.

Plus, thank you to John Motherway from Winchester for his great CHOOSE YOUR BLUES list of songs. For his efforts, he gets a highly-prized, world-famous Sunday Morning blues T-shirt. Don’t forget to get us YOUR list! Maybe we’ll play it at 11AM!
