In case you missed it, this Year’s Class of inductees to the hallowed hall in Cleveland this past March included Blues legend Freddie King. His mix of Texas and Chicago blues has inspired all the greats from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Clapton to Beck and Page and dozens more. If you need a refresher on the Man start with the standards like “Hide Away”, “I’m Tore Down”, “Have You Ever Loved A Woman” and THIS one: ”Going Down”. Sadly, Freddie passed away in 1976 but thanks to this year’s Hall of Fame nod, his legacy lives on. Watch this great clip featuring Joe Bonamassa, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Derek Trucks tearin’ it up.
