Guns N’ Roses performed in Manchester, England last night at a show that was supposed to wrap up before 11pm. However, in their typical Guns N’ Roses style, the band did not even go on stage until 11:15PM and still finished a 33-song, three-hour show that lasted until 2:15AM. Many of the disgruntled fans were forced to leave the show before the headlining band was introduced because the last train was scheduled to leave already.
Those who did stay let the band know how they felt about the delayed start when front-man Axl Rose was hit with a beer thrown from the crowd during their performance of the smash hit “Welcome To The Jungle,” which you can see in the video above. Rose then stopped and threatened to end the show before restarting the song and carrying on with the performance.
This is not the first time a well-aimed projectile has caused Axl Rose to stop a show. A similar scenario at a 2010 performance in Ireland caused Rose to end the show early after several bottles were reportedly thrown on stage even after Rose had already warned the crowd not to.
