Just type in “Axl Rose Stage Fall” in the YouTube search bar and you’ll find tons of different videos of the GNR singer taking dives both offstage and onstage.
He wasn’t hurt in any of the aforementioned videos (not that we know of anyway), so it’s perfectly acceptable to laugh at them.
His most recent plunge came on Sunday in Liverpool, where he and the rest of the hacks, er, I mean scabs, played a show as part of their current European tour.
Check out the video below:
What’s ironic about this video is at the :15 second mark, Axl addresses the crowd by saying, “Thanks for coming out. You guys have been great. Thanks for putting up with my hobbling around. Be safe getting out of here.”
The “hobbling around” he was referring to came after ANOTHER injury he sustained while performing in Moscow just days earlier. He posted pictures of that injury to his Twitter account.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg for “Axl Rose Falling Onstage Videos,” there’s more!
This next one came in October 2011, just days after he called Slash a bed wetter. (Can you say “Karma”?)
Check out the video below at the :20 second mark:
Here’s a few more:
(:04 second mark)
(:09 second mark)
(1:20 mark)
And lastly…
(:12 second mark)
Notice anything constant about these videos? Most of them came during “Knocking On Heaven’s Door.”
Yeah, you might want to exclude that from the setlist from now on Axl — for your own good.
It’s okay though, because Ace Frehley’s onstage footing is just as bad.
