Sad news from the family of Levon Helm, the drummer- singer from The Band.He’s in the final stages of his battle with cancer. Levon was diagnosed with throat cancer in the late 1990s. He recovered, but it took him many years to get his singing voice back. This past Saturday Robbie Robertson sent “love and prayers” out to Helm. Click over to read the statement from his family.
