Bruce Springsteen has replaced Clarence Clemons in the E Street Band. Clarence passed away last June of complications from a stroke. Bruce decided he needed TWO saxophonists to fill Clarence’s shoes.
And one of them is Clarence’s nephew, Jake Clemons.
The other replacement is Eddie Manion, a longtime contributor who was a member of Bruce’s Sessions Band. Jake and Eddie will, quote, “share the saxophone role” on Bruce’s upcoming tour.
The run kicks off March 18th in Atlanta and comes to TD Garden in Boston on March 26.
