Apparently, members of the Tyler family were blindsided by the Aerosmith singer’s engagement to his longtime girlfriend Erin Brady and do not not approve because she is not well liked within the family.

TMZ is reporting that the Tyler family and Erin Brady have never gotten along. The family has told close friends, “She’s just not nice.”

The two lovebirds were spotted on vacation in Maui over the Christmas weekend with her sporting a very large diamond ring on her finger.

The family members were unaware of the proposal until AFTER the romantic getaway, which supposedly made them even more mad and now feel like there’s no chance for reconciliation with Erin.
