Classic Rock magazine has decided to honor the illustrious career of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] by granting him the Living Legend Award at a presentation ceremony set to take place on November 9th.

Upon hearing the news, Beck told BBC News, “I’m really a backroom boy, not a mainstream rock act. It means someone is out there looking at what I’m doing, which is really nice.”

Pretty modest for a living legend.
