Need more evidence that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Black Sabbath[/lastfm] are reuniting? The son and daughter of Ozzy Osbourne have dropped another hint. Can they just announce it already?

Rather than completely give the reunion away – which Tony Iommi pretty much already did – Ozzy’s son Jack and daughter Kelly talked to Artisan News Service at the premiere of the new documentary God Bless Ozzy Osbourne.

Both refused to deny anything was taking place, and Kelly confirmed that Ozzy has a big new project in the works.

“I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you,” she said. “But he’s doing something that is very, very exciting. He’s just finished a tour. But he’s doing something very exciting. I’m not allowed to talk about it, though.”

Jack additionally said he can “neither confirm nor deny” what Ozzy was really up to.

Of course, Ozzy could be working on something “very, very exciting” that doesn’t involve Black Sabbath. But considering recent comments by Iommi, that’s a tough sell for any Sabbath fan.

Iommi quickly distanced himself from a recent report that the band had begun developing a reunion album and rehearsing for a world tour. He didn’t deny it, but instead reacted somewhat like he knew he’d already said too much. He told the Birmingham Mail back in June:

Ozzy Osbournes Kids Hint at Black Sabbath Reunion “We’re really looking forward to it and I think the stuff we’ve been writing is really good. It’s more back to the old original stuff…It’s all been very hush-hush. Ozzy’s been the worst at trying to hold it back. He’s doing a lot of TV and he’s being asked stuff about a reunion and he’s going ‘Well, I never say never’. He told me, ‘I don’t knowwhat to say.’”

So everyone involved continues to say as little as possible about the Black Sabbath reunion, without ever denying it. Bassist Geezer Butler is the only person who actually did that.

All this secrecy is becoming pretty absurd. It leads one to believe what the point of all these vague comments is at this point. Even if we won’t get any new material from the guys for a whole year, it can’t hurt to begin building anticipation now. And that’s already happening anyway! Case in point: this article.

Do you still doubt that there’s a Black Sabbath reunion in the works?
