Two former members of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]AC/DC[/lastfm] want to pay their respects to Bon Scott. They are planning a series of concerts to pay tribute to the band’s late lead singer, whose memorial statue is pictured above.
Mark Evans played bass for AC/DC during the band’s early years with Bon Scott on lead vocals. Simon Wright joined the band as drummer during the 1980s and left in 1988.
The two are planning a Bon Scott tribute concert together, Australian news site Undercover.fm is reporting.
ACDCFans.net is also reporting that they will primarily tour Australian venues for the tribute, but no real dates have been announced.
We’ll keep you up-to-date on this story as dates and more details are revealed. This looks right now like a cost-effective alternative to seeing the real AC/DC in concert!
