[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Def Leppard[/lastfm] is back! Joe Elliott and the boys are ready to embark on a world tour this summer, supported by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Heart[/lastfm]. And they’ll stop in New England along the way!

The band announced the tour dates on their official website Thursday night, and confirmed Friday morning that more dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Only one New England date so far- July 2 at the Mohegan Sun- but with a large gap in tour dates around that show, a Boston gig is still a possibility.

Jul 12 – Wantagh, NY (Nikon at Jones Beach Theater)
Jul 13 – Holmdel, NJ (PNC Bank Arts Center)
Jul 15 – Chicago, IL (First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre)
Jul 20 – Dallas, TX (Gexa Energy Pavilion)
Jul 24 – San Antonio, TX (AT&T Center)
