Rush is getting back in the studio to re-mix the 2002 album Vapor Trails to appease disappointed fans.
Fan site Rushisaband.com wrote on the announcement that fans have been widely critical of Rush for the production and sound quality of Vapor Trails since its 2002 release.

Well apparently, Geddy, Neil & Alex feel the same! Alex Lifeson told Classic Rock Magazine that the re-mix was long overdue.
“We were never happy with the production. Perhaps we should have taken more time over the record,” he said. But now we’ve got the chance to improve things.”
Lifeson added that the work will be strictly a re-mix, and there will be no additional recording done. So if your beef with Vapor Trails isn’t the mix but the performance, then you’re out of luck!
Rush has been busy planning lately, with a new album in the works for this year. They also recently met their two biggest fans – Paul Rudd and Jason Segel.
