Though the upcoming [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Judas Priest[/lastfm] world tour will be their last, the band isn’t done working. They also plan to release a new album.
A news update on Judas Priest.com on Wednesday reads simply:
“The guys are working together on writing new material – all is going really well – more details later!”

It was previously believed that the band would break up or retire following the farewell tour, which they announced in December.
Turns out they’re only retiring from the daily grind of touring around the world.
Guitarist Glenn Tipton confirmed on the band’s website that “This is by no means the end of the band…In fact, we are presently writing new material, but we do intend this to be the last major world tour.”
